Corporate Development

Exchange matching and surveillance services provider Forum Trading Solutions has acquired the technology division of Plus Markets, Plus TS. As part of the deal, all eight employees will be absorbed into the new company, while Plus TS will rebrand into Forum Trading Solutions.

IBM has completed the acquisition of Tealeaf Technology, a provider of digital experience management and customer behaviour analysis solutions, as part of its Smarter Commerce initiative, which provides software and services that help organisations analyse customer buying trends.

NEC Corporation, a provider of information technology services and products, has announced the establishment of NEC Korea to strengthen its regional information and communications technology business.

Core Banking

Standard Bank Africa has deployed digital commerce solution Finacle from Infosys to power its agency banking and increase financial service efficiency across Africa. The solution will assist the bank in providing value-added financial services to consumers as well as reducing cost of operations.

Sree Charan Souharda Cooperative Bank will implement Infrasoft Technologies’ Resilience for Core Banking solution, through use of IBM SmartCloud, to better align its business processes with predictive analytics and offer internet banking, online money transfers, ATM banking and mobile banking to customers.
