Fino, a Mumbai-based financial services provider, has acquired the pre-paid mobile payment business of Nokia Payment Services, with the entity renamed Alpha Payment Services India and headed by Shweta Aprameya.
Citibank has opened a business testing and parameter centre in Poland to test banking application before they are released to consumers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The centre was established as part of the Citi Centre of Excellence and will create up to 80 new jobs in Warsaw.
