Two sets of awards were presented during the day, the Financial Technology Innovation Awards and the Excellence in Retail Financial Services Awards. A total of 7 awards were given during the awards ceremony.

The Financial Supervisory Commission has been proactive in introducing new policies regarding the introduction and operations of web-only or digital only banks in the country.
