Corporate Development

Canada’s DirectCash Payments, a leading provider of ATMs, debit terminals, prepaid phone and cash cards, has entered into an agreement with Customers Limited to acquire all of Customer’s outstanding shares. The transaction aims to create a global, branded ATM provider in Canada and Australia.

Intuit, a provider of business and financial management services, has completed the purchase of AisleBuyer, a mobile payments start-up. The acquisition will allow Intuit to utilize AisleBuyer’s technology to enable merchants to accept transactions on their mobile phones.

Core Banking

Curacao’s PSB Bank has selected Fiserv’s Signature bank platform for account processing, channel, and risk management purposes.

Malaysia’s AmBank has selected Tata Consultancy Services’s TCS BaNCS core banking solution to replace its core banking engine.

E-Channels

Western Union, a provider of money transfer services, has signed an agreement with Canada’s Acxsys Corporation, a provider of debit payments services, to offer domestic and international money transfer services to Canadian customers.

Emirates Lebanon Bank has selected CR2’s BankWorld mobile and internet banking solution to allow the bank’s customers to manage their finances more efficiently via mobile and internet banking sites.
