Corporate Developments

Capgemini, a provider of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, has purchased German-based CS Consulting, a provider of information technology services, from LRPC, an investment fund. The purchase will allow Capgemini to expand its presence in the German financial institutions market.

B2 Group, a provider of financial software and services, has acquired TDI Consulting, a provider of corporate payments processing services, allowing B2 Group to incorporate TDI’s expertise in payments processing into its suite of products and services.

Intel has purchased a stake in Omnesys Technologies, an Indian-based provider of securities trading and order management systems, which will help Intel to expand its presence in the Indian financial market.

Core Banking

Deutsche Bank has chosen Tata Consultancy Services’s BaNCS core banking system to help provide the bank with a modern, safe and cost-effective platform for its transaction banking activities.

Misys, a provider of application software and services, has signed an agreement with Cooperative Bank of Kenya to provide the bank with its BankFusion Universal Banking software. The core banking solution will help the bank enlarge its variety of products and services and increase the ba...
