Corporate Developments

Ingenico, a provider of payment solutions, has acquired Italy-based Tnet, a provider of technical services for payment services. The acquisition will help strengthen Ingenico’s position as a leader of POS-related services in the Italian market.

Accenture will buy Zenta, a provider of home loan processing services in the Unites States. Zenta’s capabilities will be an integral part of Accenture Credit Services, a newly-launched consulting and technology division that will service financial institutions.

Core Banking

Fiserv, a provider of financial technology software, has signed a deal with Pennsylvania-based Fulton Financial Corporation to provide the bank with Signature, its core banking solution, to help support the bank’s expansion plans and streamline its processes.

Banco de la Nación Argentina New York has selected Temenos’ T24 core banking system which will help the bank to run its processes on a single, cost-effective system.

Ecobank Liberia has deployed Oracle’s Flexcube core banking solution to help the bank provide its customers with harmonized and automated transactions, thus improving its efficiency.
