Xi Jinping, China’s president, announced on 2 September 2021 during the Global Trade in Services Summit a number measures to promote the innovative development of the services trade, including the setting up of a new stock exchange in Beijing to serve innovation-orientated small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
